   Where did this design come from? It looks very like an old British Army sports medal. I’m curious as I’m trying to track down the origin of a very similar looking medal belonging to my Great-uncle with a Birmingham mark.

     Hi,

     It does not have any inscriptions on the back. All I know is that it is a watch fob medal from 1911 Birmingham. Hope that helps!
